The annual cream tea extravaganza produced record receipts. Over £1600 will be shared between the village hall and St Katharine’s. The fantastic results were due to a number of factors: 5 Sundays, the church Flower Festival, plus very kind weather. Oh, and increased prices too. But it’s still a bargain at £4.50!

This was our first season without Valerie Wheeler’s guiding hand, and thanks are due to all who supported us with cakes, scones and their time and effort on the day. A particular thank you to Viv Kenny who pulled the whole thing together.
